Pompei

Home of commercial exchanges in the roman years, pompei was hit by the disastrous eruption of the Vesuvius in 79 dc, that eliminated any living being and filled the area with volcanic ash.

Around the middle of the 1700 the excavations were started.

The rich town centre includes the big archaeological area and the famous sanctuary of the beata virgin of the rosary, where every year almost 4 millions of pilgrims go, and the Vesuvius museum gian battista alfano.

Ercolano

Covered by a flow of mud and lava from the eruption of 79dc, percolano was a residential area with rich villas of the roman élite.

Despite the destruction, a lot of wall paintings and objects were preserved.

From ercolano you can reach the Vesuvius, the origin of the city’s destruction.

From the big cone a particular atmosphere and a wild beauty dominate the gulf of naples.

Various trekking paths can be followed in the park, up to the crater.

Napoli

City of art, it is bowl-shaped, on the sea, delimited by the vesuvius, the mountains of the coast and the islands.

Capri

The most famous and visited island of the gulf is Capri, known all over the world for its natural and archaeological beauty and for the pleasant and chic nightlife.

Probably named after the roman emperor tiberio nerone who often moved to the coast, nerano is nowadays a beach centre of great importance on the amalfi-sorrento coast, and is known for the beauty of its sea caves and the typical restaurants on the sea.

It is also the place where you can leave to visit little beaches with the boats.

Positano

A world-wide known postcard, engraved in the rocks, surrounded by the rich Mediterranean vegetation, positano attracts tourists, famous people and artists enchamted by its wonderful frame.

Full of many little streets, rich of various boutiques that show faous coloured items, it makes the town look like a presepe.

Amalfi

Historical soul of the coast and old maritime republic, it’s situated between the lattari mountains and the sea and sky serenity.

The town centre is characterised by the dome, the big facade with golden mosaic works.

The dome is one of the main examples of the amalfitan romanic style, together with the paradise cloister with its Arabic lines and the crucifix chapel from which you can visit the diocesan museum and the crypt from the XIII century.

An open terrace on the sea, 350 mt high, it offers a scenario of beauty and architecture jewels of rare elegance.
