The town cathedral, facing the corso italia, is full of furniture made with the old inlaid techniques.

Built in the beginning of the XV century, it was renovated many times.

The church, apart from the baptistery where the most famous Sorrento citizen was baptised, torquato tasso, has a lot of paintings of the 1700 neapolitan school and is characterised by a big bell tower.
